The course syllabus

The Pre-Starters course is designed for 6-year-old children who have just started the first grade.

The goal is to introduce children to the English language through playful activities so that learning takes place in the form of play.

By the end of the course, children will have formed a small vocabulary related to everyday topics, such as family, school objects, toys and more; they also begin to understand simple grammatical forms, such as to be, to have, to be able and others. This forms a good foundation for their future path.

The Pre-Starters course is positioned at an age when children are in the midst of learning to read and write. For this reason, the main focus is kept on listening and oral repetition of spoken language, introducing only a small amount of English reading and writing through the use of phonics, a simple and intuitive method that helps children understand letter-sound correspondence.
