The course syllabus

The course program follows the European CEFR guidelines for level B1 but incorporates activities aimed at providing more practical use of the language.

The course is designed for students who have already reached level B1 in most skills but need to consolidate certain abilities in order to access and gain the maximum benefit from the B2 course.

Lessons are conducted in an engaging manner, utilizing both structural and communicative exercises. Progress will be monitored through ongoing assessments.

The four skills developed during this course are as follows:

Reading: Refinement of skills in reading and understanding more complex texts, such as articles, stories, and informational documents, with a focus on overall comprehension and specific details.

Listening: Development of the ability to understand and interpret more complex conversations, speeches, and audio, enabling students to grasp details, main ideas, and implicit meanings.

Writing: Enhancement of the ability to compose clear and well-structured texts, including emails, reports, and essays, with greater attention to coherence, grammar, and lexical variety.

Speaking: Improvement of the ability to engage in fluent conversations on a variety of topics, expressing opinions, presenting arguments, and interacting in everyday and professional situations.
