The course syllabus

The A2 English course is designed to allow students to further practice basic language structures, developing the ability to:

  • Understand and use simple phrases and expressions;
  • Read and comprehend short texts in English;
  • Introduce themselves and answer personal questions;
  • Interact at an elementary level with English-speaking interlocutors.

Lessons are intended to be engaging, using stimulating and practical learning activities.

At the end of the course, students may take a test and receive a certificate of attendance. They can then decide whether to enroll for a Cambridge certification.

 

Throughout the course, all four language skills will be developed:

  • Reading: Ability to read and understand simple texts, slightly more complex than at A1 level, such as short stories and instructions, with an improved understanding of general meaning and specific details.
  • Listening: Ability to understand more detailed information and instructions in familiar contexts, such as short conversations, announcements, and messages on common topics, with greater accuracy.
  • Writing: Ability to write more complex texts, such as personal letters, short stories, and descriptions of everyday experiences or situations, with clear structure and more precise grammar use.
  • Speaking: Improved ability to communicate with more confidence on everyday topics, respond to questions about routines, interests, and simple situations, and participate in short conversations on familiar themes.

Payment

A payment of 50% of the quote is required to confirm the course at the beginning, with the balance due halfway through the course.

Once the course activation is guaranteed, the total agreed amount is required, even in the event of course cancellation by the student.

Cancellation of Lessons

Students are notified that they can only cancel lessons with 24 hours’ notice by directly informing the teacher and the school at info@thebbsway.com; otherwise, the lesson will be considered regular in the final count.
