The course syllabus

The A1-level English course program aims to teach students the basics of the language, enabling them to use it in very simple contexts such as:

  • asking and answering questions about themselves and their feelings;
  • sharing personal information;
  • describing people, actions, and situations at a basic level;
  • briefly interacting with English-speaking interlocutors.

Lessons are structured to be dynamic and engaging, utilizing both structural and communicative exercises.

At the end of the course, students may take a test and will receive a certificate of attendance. They can then decide whether to enroll for a Cambridge certification.

The course will develop the following skills:

  • Reading: Ability to read and understand very simple texts, such as signs, announcements, short messages, and everyday phrases, with attention to essential details and overall meaning.
  • Listening: Ability to understand common phrases and words in familiar contexts, such as simple announcements, clear instructions, and short conversations on everyday topics.
  • Writing: Ability to write short, simple texts and messages, such as personal notes, fill out forms, and give basic descriptions of people, places, or events, with particular attention to clarity and basic accuracy.
  • Speaking: Ability to engage in simple and basic conversations, introduce oneself, ask for and provide personal information, and ask questions about common topics like family, work, and daily routines.

Payment
A 50% payment of the quoted amount is required to confirm the course at the beginning, with the balance due halfway through the course.

Once the course activation is confirmed, full payment of the agreed amount is required, even if the student cancels the course.

Lesson Cancellations
Students are advised that lessons can only be canceled with 24 hours’ notice by directly informing both the teacher and the school at info@thebbsway.com; otherwise, the lesson will be considered as attended in the final count.
