The A2 English course is designed to give students more practice with the basic forms of the language, enabling them to:
Understand and use basic sentences and expressions;
Comprehend simple English texts;
Introduce themselves and answer questions about themselves;
Interact with English speakers at a basic level.
The lessons are structured to be engaging, utilizing both structural and communicative exercises. Students’ progress will be monitored through ongoing assessments during the course.
Throughout the course, all four language skills will be developed:
Reading: The ability to read and understand slightly more complex simple texts than at the A1 level, such as stories and instructions, with a better understanding of meaning and specific details.
Listening: The ability to comprehend more detailed information and instructions in familiar contexts, such as brief conversations, announcements, and messages on common topics, with greater accuracy.
Writing: Development of the ability to write more elaborate texts, such as personal letters, short stories, and descriptions of experiences and everyday situations, with clearer structure and more precise grammar.
Speaking: Improvement in the ability to communicate on everyday topics with greater confidence, such as asking and answering questions about routines, interests, and simple situations, and participating in brief conversations on familiar subjects.
The teacher, a native speaker with CELTA certification, will guide students through group activities and will be available for individual assistance if needed.
At the end of the course, students will take a final test and receive a certificate of attendance, provided they have participated in at least 75% of the lessons.
